Mobile O&P Care Unit
Many people that would benefit from O&P intervention are unable to access it to due to travel barriers. The Mobile O&P Care Unit hopes to eliminate this barrier. The Designed to Live’s Mobile O&P Care Unit is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to provide O&P service to those that would benefit from O&P care but are unable to obtain it.This Mobile O&P Care Unit seeks to ‘fill-in-the-gaps’ with adjustments, repairs or new device fabrications, while avoiding encroachment on governmental services or private practices.
The primary goal of providing these services, would be not only a physical one, but to most importantly build relationships with the people, show them God’s love, and share His message to all that are helped.
Designed to Live collaborates with private and governmental O&P practitioners as well as students with the aim to enhance O&P education and patient care. We hope to represent Christ by claiming every workplace as a mission field.
